Pertubuhan Kebangsaan Melayu Singapura

Ah ha! This is not a new political party.
If you do not know who they are, you’ve really gotta read up on your Singapore’s history ya?

*Drum rolls*
What does Han Hui Hui has gotta say about PAP IBs trying to use her birth to divert attention away from the burning CPF issues?

HHH: “Go ahead, it only makes me newsworthy.”

Hui Hui holds...
Hui Hui writes...
Hui Hui stands...

Do you think LKY can make such headlines when he was 23?
Less to say the incumbent prime minister…

On a side note, do you know a person is qualified to be a candidate for election as a Member of Parliament (MP) if he or she:
1. is a citizen of Singapore;
2. is 21 years old and above on Nomination Day;
3. is registered as an elector in the current registers of electors;
4. is resident in Singapore on Nomination Day and has been so for a total period not less than 10 years;
5. is not subject to any of the disqualifications specified in Article 45 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore.

Which also means a person shall not be qualified to be a Member of Parliament when
1. is and has been found or declared to be of unsound mind;
2. is an undischarged bankrupt;
3. holds an office of profit;
4. having been nominated for election to Parliament or the office of President or having acted as election agent to a person so nominated, has failed to lodge any return of election expenses required by law within the time and in the manner so required;
5. has been convicted of an offence by a court of law in Singapore or Malaysia and sentenced to imprisonment for a term of not less than one year or to a fine of not less than $2,000 and has not received a free pardon.

As such, there’s no need to speculate for the truth will be revealed on nomination day.
