The Singapore government AGC wants Han Hui Hui to pay SGD$22,504.90 on behalf of five Singaporeans whom she does not know and has never met.

This is not the first time the AGC has targeted discrimination against Han Hui Hui.

In 2013, taxpayers money was used to threaten to sue Han Hui Hui for defamation, the AGC was involved and the defamation case didn't proceed. In 2014, Han Hui Hui was charged in court and the trial lasted two years whereby she had to fund raise a total of $4,000 to pay off the $3,100 fine and the $450 fine each, for the other two co-accused whom she does not know who they are, until she met them in court. https://www.amnesty.org.au/singapore-peaceful-protesters-han-hui-hui/

In 2017, the AGC continued to stalk Han Hui Hui's social media accounts, and then sent her letters to threaten her family members into making her stop posting online with a SGD$600,000.00 fine and 18 years jail. https://www.asiasentinel.com/p/singapore-courts-scandalized-again

Han Hui Hui did oblige because she doesn't want her parents to die of a heart attack so she didn't post anything on social media until she was banned from entering Malaysia and deported back to Singapore. https://www.fidh.org/en/region/asia/malaysia/singaporean-activist-deported-barred-from-workshop

Who to vote for in my first Singapore Presidential Election?

For the first time in my life, I will have the chance to vote during Singapore’s Presidential Election. Although Singapore had 4 elected presidents and this coming election is for the 5th president, there were only two elections being held. The first election was in 1993 and the president elected was Ong Teng Cheong with 58.69% of the votes from 952,513 voters, while the second election was in 2011 and the president elected was Tony Tan Keng Yam with 35.20% of the votes from 745,693 voters.
