For clarification purposes, we do not have any lawyers and represented ourselves in court throughout the 7-day trial.
In addition, we did not receive any funds for the year 2016 and paid everything, from our court transcripts to the printing of documents, out of our own pockets.

On 15th Oct 2015, we paid $15 as admin fee for the first tranche of transcripts.
It was a 4-day trial from 13th Oct 2015 to 16th Oct 2015.



On 20th Jan 2016, we paid an additional $279.50 for the 4 days’ worth of transcripts.
The transcripts cost $0.50 per page.



On 29th Feb 2015, we paid another $15 as admin fee for the second tranche of transcripts.
It was a 3-day trial from 24th Oct 2015 to 26th Oct 2015.



On 17th Mar 2016, we paid an additional $206.50 for the 3 days’ worth of transcripts.
The transcripts cost $0.50 per page.



The total amount of money $10,800 that was transferred to POSB Savings 279-12328-0 during the year 2014 and 2015 were all given to our then lawyer.

We do not have any legal aid now as our lawyer has been suspended of his license to practise law.

An update of the current situation, we are expected to hand in our written submission by 18th April 2016.

Who to vote for in my first Singapore Presidential Election?

For the first time in my life, I will have the chance to vote during Singapore’s Presidential Election. Although Singapore had 4 elected presidents and this coming election is for the 5th president, there were only two elections being held. The first election was in 1993 and the president elected was Ong Teng Cheong with 58.69% of the votes from 952,513 voters, while the second election was in 2011 and the president elected was Tony Tan Keng Yam with 35.20% of the votes from 745,693 voters.
